Three Delicious Turkey Meals you can Prepare Using Frozen Turkey

Despite the gruelling media campaigning that has turned food products into consumable shopping items, Sainsbury's frozen turkey has somehow maintained itself as a delicacy.

Frozen Turkey

While one might think that is due to some limitations inherent to turkey products, this is not the case, as we will show you in this article.

Discover three of our favourite frozen turkey meals and how to make them!

1. Turkey Tetrazzini

Add around two cups of cubed and cooked turkey to a large baking dish filled with cooked spaghetti. In a separate pan, add mushrooms sauteed in onions and butter to milk, a seasoning of your choice, mustard, and cheddar.

Use medium heat to melt this mixture to a fine, thick gravy and pour over the turkey and spaghetti in the baking dish. Add more cheeses, filling the dish almost to the brim, and bake without the lid at 350° for around half an hour. Sprinkle with parsley and chopped-up bell peppers, and serve.

2. Frozen Turkey Burger

Order a frozen turkey patty or Tesco frozen turkeys online. Place the turkey cut in an oiled frying pan, not letting the pan get too hot. Also, take care not to overcrowd the pan with turkey burgers.

Add slices of cheese onto the tops of your turkey burgers once they look brown enough from both sides, and let the cheese melt for a minute or two before serving them in toasted buns with seasonings of garlic, onion, or chilli powder. Condiments like barbecue sauce, ketchup, or mustard also go great with frozen turkey burgers.

3. Hot Brown Turkey Casserole

Add flour and milk to melted butter in a saucepan, and heat it to a boil while stirring constantly. Add a lightly beaten egg, parmesan, salt, and pepper. Stir and heat the mixture to its thickness. In an oven preheated to around 350°, place your baking dish with layers of toast slices and cubed cooked turkey. Pour sauce from the saucepan to cover the surface of the baking dish, and bake for around twenty minutes. Serve your casserole topped with tomatoes and parsley.
