The Absolute Best Way to Make Chicken Nuggets
Who doesn’t love chicken nuggets?
Ingredients for the Chicken Nuggets
● ½ cup all-purpose flour
● 1 tsp Kosher salt (you can use
regular salt as well)
● ¼ tsp Black pepper
● 2 teaspoon garlic powder
● 2 boneless skinless chicken breasts
● 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
● 1 large egg
● 1 cup vegetable oil
Directions:
Step 1: First, add the flour in a
resealable plastic bag, and then add the seasonings, garlic, salt, and black
pepper. Cut the chicken breast into 1½ -inch pieces, place the chicken in the
flour bag, and toss them to coat on all sides.
Step 2: Add the breadcrumbs to a plate and salt and pepper. Next, whisk the egg in a bowl and add 1 tablespoon of water. Then take the flour-coated chicken pieces and dip them in the egg mixture. Then gently press the now-coated chicken pieces with egg into the breadcrumbs. Coat the chicken on all sides with breadcrumbs and then set them aside.
Step 3: The last step is to heat the vegetable oil in a large frying pan over medium heat. Fry the chicken pieces in the pan and fry each side for about 8 minutes or until golden brown. Use the spatula to turn the chicken pieces and transfer them into a plate lined with a paper towel. Your chicken nuggets are ready to be served.
Can I use Chicken Niblett instead of
chicken breast?
Chicken Niblets are almost all skin,
bone, and cartilage with very little meat. Hence, it would be difficult to cut
the meat from Niblet.
For this reason, breast piece is ideally preferred.
Can I use this recipe to make
Chicken Burger?
Yes,
this recipe can also be used to make the chicken patty burger. Follow the exact
instructions, but you will have to cut the chicken breast piece according to
