Grilled Chicken – How To Grill Perfect Chicken Every Time!

Grilled chicken is one of the simplest recipes. Yet, it’s hard to get it right and make chicken with delicious flavour and juicy texture. We’ve got a perfect recipe for you to create perfectly scrumptious ready grilled chicken meals to impress your guests at the next dinner party!

 Ingredients of Grilled Chicken

       350 gm chicken

       1/2 teaspoon red chilli powder

       1/2 teaspoon ginger paste

       1/2 teaspoon garlic paste

       1/2 cup curd

       1 teaspoon garam masala powder

       1/4 teaspoon cumin powder

       1/4 teaspoon coriander powder

       salt as required

       1/4 teaspoon black pepper powder

 Recipe of Grilled Chicken

Step 1: Pound the chicken

Pounding chicken is an important step to tenderise the meat to ensure that the chicken is evenly cooked and has a juicy texture.

So, place the washed chicken inside 1 gallon of the zip-lock bag and pound it to a 1/2 inch thickness. You can do it with a meat mallet or rolling pin.

 Step 2: Marinate the chicken

In a large bowl, mix all of the ingredients ginger paste, garlic paste, curd, coriander powder, red chilli powder, cumin powder, salt, black pepper, and garam masala.

Add the chicken piece to the bowl and apply the perfect marinade mixture all over the chicken. Cover the bowl and refrigerate the marinated chicken for at least 8 hours or overnight.

Step 3: Grill the chicken to perfection!

Preheat the grill to high heat and oil the gates to ensure that you get the best grill marks. Remove the chicken piece from the marinade and place it on the grilling tray.

You only need to grill the chicken for a few minutes per side for the perfect texture and no more than that. This is because of the pounded thinness of the chicken. By pricking it with a fork, you can check if the chicken has completely cooked.

After the chicken is cooked, remove it from the grill and let it rest for 3-4 minutes before serving ready grilled chicken meals with a dip or salad.
