FRESH OR FROZEN-PERFECT INSTANT POT CHICKEN BREASTS


For the perfect instant pot chicken breast, one needs not be any chef. The ease of preparing this dish topped up with its incredible taste is what makes it so popular and well-loved. The Instant Pot is at the top when it comes to making meals quickly. Made with fresh chicken breasts, this dish can be prepared within minutes.

 Though fast to cook, the instant chicken breasts can be intimidating at times and maybe tricky while you try to cook it to perfection. There are many tricks and Trivia that can be used to modify and better the potted chicken. From using frozen chicken breast to using ingredients such as pineapple juice, the list goes on and on.

 Though it may sound odd, the pineapple juice helps load by preventing the instant chicken breasts from getting tough, rubbery, or dried out.

 Notes On Ingredients:

Chicken Breasts: You can opt for either Fresh chicken breasts or frozen chicken breast.  They can also be of any size as per your preference. Either small or large. Also, you can accordingly use any boneless, skinless chicken breasts you have. The cooking time is based on the size of the chicken breast.

 Seasonings: The usual seasoning shall do. Add accurate amounts of salt, pepper, and minced garlic. These seasonings perfectly complement the chicken in their entirety. Also, feel free to season the chicken breast with the likes of seasoned Salt, taco Seasoning, or any other different combination of your favorite seasoning that you wish to blend in, to amp up the flavor.

 Methods to make instant pot chicken breasts.

 ● Placement of the chicken breasts is important. Place it in the inner pot of the instant pot and season it with accurate amounts of salt and pepper.

● Add in 1 cup pineapple juice or the already prepared chicken stock and season with minced garlic. You can also use garlic powder as a substitute.

 ● Place the lid on the instant pot. Make sure you have vented the knob and it is pointed towards the seal.

 ● Set pressure cooker to the cooking time as per the manual and the size of chicken breasts.

● Once the cooking time has elapsed, allow the pressure to be released naturally for 10 minutes before doing a quick release of pressure. This is key to making your chicken breasts stand out and be tender. Do not be tempted to let off the pressure easily.
